SSP, Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida)Suspended
In November 2019 he sent a confidential report to the CM's and DGP's offices alleging that senior police officers, politicians and journalists were fixing transfers and postings for money; it followed the arrest of four journalists whose conversations with officers about paid postings came to light. After a purported explicit video of him circulated (he said it was morphed), the report leaked. He was suspended; the officers he named were moved to minor posts the same day and a committee was set up to examine his allegations.

- What became of the matter
- Partly vindicated. TOI (Mar 2021): of the five IPS officers he accused, the government's SIT gave three a clean chit and recommended action against two, Ajay Pal Sharma and Himanshu Kumar, against whom the Vigilance establishment lodged an FIR.
