On 23 Jun 2017 BJP activists tried to stop police from producing local BJP leader Pramod Lodhi, arrested for assaulting a traffic policeman who fined him; she told them to 'go and get written orders from the chief minister that the police have no right to check vehicles' and five were jailed. A week later she was in a transfer list of about 250 DSPs.
