Inspector General of Police; head of the SIT on the 2015 Kotkapura and Behbal Kalan firingsPremature (voluntary) retirement
The Punjab and Haryana High Court quashed the investigation and chargesheet of the SIT he led and said a fresh SIT could be formed without him. Two days later he applied for voluntary retirement.
